Exploring The Big Trail (May 1 – Dec. 31) showcases stereoscopic photographs taken during the filming of the 1930 motion picture The Big Trail, featuring John Wayne in his first starring role. With the majority of images never before seen, this exhibition provides insights into the production of the first big-budget film of the sound era and the role Westerns played in shaping the mythology of the American West.
