D-Day Movie

D-Day Remembered – Wednesday, June 6 at 2pm & 6pm – FREE!

A Circle Cinema tradition. “D-Day Remembered” is an award-winning documentary of the invasion of Normandy in World War II, using rare archival films and pictures from British, American, and German archives.┬áThe narrator provides the overall continuity, but the voices of over 50 participants who were involved in the staging of the invasion in Britain or were on the beaches of France bring the images to life. From four-time Academy Award ┬« Winner Charles Guggenheim

Notes: Special Guests will include Bill Parker, D-Day veteran, in attendance at 2pm screening. Additionally, we invite guests to view a variety of D-Day Normandy memorabilia on display courtesy of Keith Myers Traveling Military Museum. Phil Judkins will play on the original 1928 Circle Cinema pipe organ prior to the 2pm screening with Bill Rowland joining us for the 6pm screening.
