Experience A Multimedia Sensory Explosion.
During the early evening hours of May 31st, 2013, the largest tornado in recorded history formed in the vast wheat fields of Canadian County, just south of El Reno, Oklahoma. Our true story of Man vs. Monster is based on the epic tale of Beowulf. It will be told through intense storm chaser footage, a new video work by Sacha Thomas & Christian Kelly Large and an original musical score by Brian Haas of Jacob Fred and Nolatet which will include the Circle Cinema’s original 1928 pipe organ. This multi-media sensory explosion will serve as a requiem for the brave souls who lost theirs lives chasing the storm that broke all records. This performance will commemorate the Five Year Anniversary of the El Reno tornado.
Join us at Circle Cinema on Saturday, June 2nd for the World Premiere of “AN OKLAHOMA TORNADO STORY, BEOWULF ON RADIO ROAD.” Featuring Chris Combs and Annie Ellicott with Ana Berry as “The Mother.” Reception begins at 6:30pm, Show at 8:00pm. Tickets are On Sale Now!
